{"id":22,"date":"2012-07-26T11:08:34","date_gmt":"2012-07-26T18:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mtcharlestonweather.com\/blog\/?p=22"},"modified":"2013-12-29T10:23:46","modified_gmt":"2013-12-29T18:23:46","slug":"time-to-go-hiking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mtcharlestonweather.com\/blog\/events\/time-to-go-hiking\/","title":{"rendered":"Time to go Hiking!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Explore the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area with free interpretive hikes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0A night hike discussing wildlife adaptations after dark is planned for 8 p.m. each Friday, beginning at the McWilliams Campground host site.<\/p>\n<p>A Junior Ranger program to test youngsters&#8217; hiking and fire-safety knowledge and expand stewardship and research skills is set for 1 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Spring Mountains Visitor Center.<\/p>\n<p>Guided hikes through the Lower Bristlecone area and the Fletcher Canyon Trail are planned for 10 a.m. Sunday and Aug. 4 at the Spring Mountains Visitor Center.<\/p>\n<p>Campfire programs are planned for 8 p.m. each Saturday at the Hilltop Campground.
