Charleston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday Sep. 13, a drug task force removed 533 mature marijuana plants hidden in the forest of Mt. Charleston.\u00a0 The bust was valued at over $500,000 and was located about 20 miles north of State Route 159. This was the third outdoor marijuana grow that was found in Clark County this year.<\/p>\n<p>The task force which is composed of members from Metro, North Las Vegas, DEA, USFS, and BLM found the grow after receiving reports of suspicious activity in the area.\u00a0 Using a helicopter, they airlifted the marijuana out of the area.<\/p>\n<p>Although no suspects were present, numerous people were seen fleeing on foot as the task force approached.\u00a0 Future arrests may be eminent as the officers recovered a fair amount of evidence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday Sep. 13, a drug task force removed 533 mature marijuana plants hidden in the forest of Mt.
