{"id":64,"date":"2012-10-07T10:23:40","date_gmt":"2012-10-07T17:23:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mtcharlestonweather.com\/blog\/?p=64"},"modified":"2013-12-29T10:23:23","modified_gmt":"2013-12-29T18:23:23","slug":"mount-charleston-fire-station-open-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mtcharlestonweather.com\/blog\/events\/mount-charleston-fire-station-open-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Mount Charleston Fire Station Open House"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Clark County Fire Department will host a community open house at a volunteer fire station at Mount Charleston next weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Mount Charleston\u2019s Fire Station 81 will hold an open house from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 25 Ski Chalet Place in Kyle Canyon near the community library on State Route 157.<\/p>\n<p>The Southern Nevada Immunization &amp; Health Coalition will offer free immunizations at both open houses. Information about camping safety and wild land fire protection also will be available.<\/p>\n<p>Scheduled to take part in Station 81\u2019s Mount Charleston open house are the U.S. Forest Service, Nevada Division of Forestry, Southern Nevada Child Drowning Prevention Coalition, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, American Red Cross, Nevada Healthy Homes, and staff from Clark County Business License and the District Attorney\u2019s office.\u00a0The department\u2019s fire safety house, which teaches kids how to get out of their homes safely in a fire, will be present, as well as the always-popular \u201cCaptain Be Safe\u201d inflatable firefighter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right; font-size: 10px;\">Source: 8NewsNow<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Clark County Fire Department will host a community open house at a volunteer fire station at Mount Charleston next weekend.
